At Platypus, we specialize in Custom Mahogany Furniture. We import over 40 containers of custom finished mahogany furniture every year! Each piece is hand made from start to finish and uses old world methods for construction. With hundreds of styles and finishes to choose from, each piece is uniquely made for you! All pieces are available in the finish of your choice!

Pieces have a distressed finish that adds to the sense of charm and age. Please note the imperfections are non-structural in nature and are intentionally applied during finishing. Glass and mirrors shown on all pieces are richly bevelled.

Pieces are available by special order in the 15 Custom finishes shown! Colors can often be combined on a single piece as shown throughout our catalog creating literally thousands of possibilities!

In addition, pieces can be handpainted in over 25 art motifs shown below for a 10% surcharge. All art is applied by the artist as they feel best suits the design of the piece.
